What movie did you watch last night? (7 Viewers)

ok - watched "Things To Do In South Central When You're Drinking Your Juice In The Hood" - spent most of the film trying to figure out how old I was when I saw it/enjoyed it - easily the worst movie i've bought in recent memory. i hope i never see In Living Color again and find out it's rubbish too. Wayans = Not Funny. DUH DUH DUH - it's so obvious.

Bought this recently. Still found it kinda funny. The kid on the tricycle talking about Ho's was funny as fuck!

Anyway, the other night I watched Lords Of Dogtown. Enjoyable enough, except the guy playing Stacey Peralta reminded me way too much of Taylor Hanson.

Last night I watched Samhain, a horror film, supposedly set in Ireland, that's soooo crap that it's actually the best thing I've seen in ages. If ANYONE likes cheesy crappy horror films full of porn stars trying to do Irish accents and failing miserably, then this film is for you! Actually, it did have some pretty cool & funny gore shots. Some bloke getting his intestines ripped out his ass while shouting "Arsehole" in the worst Irish accent ever will go down in history as one of my favourite movie moments, as will the line "Gary, I tought I told ya ta lay off da Haggis". Yes, Haggis!!!!

ônibus 174:

incredible doc about a bus hijacking in rio de janeiro, and the unfolding drama as the incident plays out of the control of the police, live on national television. simultaneously, the movie looks in depth into the hijacker sandro's past growing up in terrible circumstances as a street kid, while highlighting the social attitudes, police brutality and woeful penal system that those in his situation have to contend with. nightmarish stuff in places.

Machucha.

it's set in 1973 in Santiago Chile when Pinochet backed by the CIA ovethrew Allende. it is seen through eyes of two 11 year old boys who become friends (one from a wealthy neighbourhood and one from the shanty towns )

could have been cheesetastic but I actually liked it

Great movie. That guy they interview with the cloth wrapped around his head is terrifying and the final scene where it truly goes tits-up (the slow-motion scene of the cop going in for the kill when it all seemed to be winding down) is jaw-dropping stuff.
Also the visit to the jail is pretty chilling.

yeah! he was talking about setting fire to cops and shit. insane... and the many references to police brutality and murder. crystalised hatred from every angle.

i watched Wedding Crashers..expected it to be a piece of shit, then pissed myself laughing at it..
one of the funniest scenes ever in any movie ever, when the Jamaican butler guy thinks that Vince Vaughan is going to bang the granny "how much jam you got man? the family dog is asleep downstairs, i can go wake it for you if you like"
hahaha

saw Red Eye too, was good enough

i pissed myself laughing at the Jamaican/Jam comment too but interesting thing is i saw it in the cinema and that part didnt make the original cut, only the uncorked DVD!

Few of the uncorked extras make it a much funnier film

saw an ad for All or Nothing and then remembered we had an unwatched dvd of it so put it on. Grand Mike Leigh stuff. Although bits were a bit "oh darling lets look at the peasents" especially the bit at the end.
"i had fish"
"oooooooooohhhhhhhhh"

On this UK S.Ed version, you put in the second disc, go down to "biographies" and then press the right direction button, the line should go to the bottom and then you press enter or play. Hope this is helpful!

On Disc 2
Move the selection line down to the bottommost option, 'Biographies', then press the right arrow button, then click on the "new" selection line before it disappears. You will then be able to play the "Chronological Edit".
