Bill Murray is great as Hunter S. Thompson but the film is all over the place. Very funny in parts.

An Albert Pyun film (director of films of varying levels of quality, usually involving some combination of kickboxers, cyborgs and rappers who can't act, but none of those in this one) with Charlie Sheen (billed as Charles here because he wanted people to take him seriously because he saw how well it worked for Andy Cole when he wanted people to call him Andrew). Charles is an ex-serial killer profiler dude who's moved to Glasgow for tax breaks so the local serial killer starts sending him obituaries of people he's about to kill. Not very good but still watchable.

Saw Cosmoplolis. Interesting film, its got a feel of some of Cronenbergs SF stuff. The actors declaimed their lines in a Shakesperian style but the form was more Becketian and not just because we were waiting for something to happen. Could have done with some editing, theres one scene where a "head of theory" spouts post-modern gobbly gook, that could have been cut out entirely.
