Saw Jurassic World there lately, one of the worst films ever. An exemplar of what is wrong with modern cinema. Utter garbage.

I quite liked this and I’m no fan of CGI driven blockbusters. Thought it was in keeping with the spirit of the original. My review: “**** - A good time at the movies!” – Bernie Lomax, 2015

It was just too much and the script made barely a whit of sense. Garbage. I wonder if kids love it, they probably do. The original was hardly a masterpiece but it had enough script to propel the visuals forward. This was just all over the shop. And the sketchy guilt tripping of the aunt because she rarely sees her nephews. What the fuck like?

Badlands
I thought this was brilliant. Beautifully shot, disturbing, hilarious. Sheen and Spacek are amazing in it. I have Days Of Heaven to watch this week.

I’ve forgotten most of it now. The megasaur was a underwhelming, but I liked the kids and the aerial attack was reminiscent of The Birds and pretty cool.

I love Oscar Isaac so much. And he's a shortie.

I liked this film a lot. Great to see the other side of things.
