They are the ultimate emperor wears no clothes group. Absolute waste of time.Same, was also at that Crawdaddy gig I think? One where Justin Broadrick opened as Final, and then played with Sunn 0)) after. So painfully boring. Never again

He was grand, long heavy drones but not as good as Sunn O))). I prefer JB when he’s playing riffs. Best gig of his I’ve seen is probably Jesu when the self-titled album came out, they supported Isis in the TBMC and it was amazing. (Isis were so-so.)Yeah I enjoyed it myself, I was up on the balcony so I had a nice sit down and closed my eyes and just got enveloped in it.
I think I caught’s Justin’s set beforehand but I don’t remember. I do remember not seeing anything because the fog machine was working overtime. That stuff isn’t cheap, like €30 for a 5-litre jug.
You can come see Carpark Sci fi in Tullamore on 20th April if you’re sad about missing out!A twofer. Missed Pat McManus down the road and totally fucking missed Car Park Sci-Fi and Steve Windings in the Anseo.
