My folks couldn't agree on a name for my sister for ages, so their mate called her Gobnet.

It sort of managed to get into my head though, its like Gobnet is her middle name now or something.

I work with a couple of Sikh woman. They have some mental names too.
Preetmoninder, Sarbjit or Gurchit.

When I was introduced, I went "you're called what?" twice. I was all prepared for the next time. Oh hi Gurchit!
