I place absolutely no faith in reviews at this point.
For instance, pretty much every review said The Punisher : Warzone was a pile of shit, when in fact it is one of the most amazingly brilliant brutal action films of the last 10 years.

I saw the movie toight in the Savoy.

A lovingly put-together movie. In my opinion they couldn't have made a better movie from this book.
If you liked the book, I think you'll really love this.

It's a noble attempt but almost all the non-action scenes are excruciating. Also, the soundtrack is absolutely appalling - literal nonesense, clumsily placed. I have no idea why the ending is the ending.

Ah no. It's really entertaining and well worth seeing but now having seen the movie I can sympathise even more with Allan Moore's position in terms of doing his story justice.
