Apparently the Watchmen movie is in 'turnaround' meaning that pre-production has ceased and the movie may not be made.

I reckon it would be better suited as a 12 episode series for television. You'd lose the spectacle of the big screen but you would gain the time to do it properly. It's a twelve chapter story as it is although I still think the parallel story of the guy surviving on the raft would (not should, of course) be ditched.

What say you nerds?

sin city has restored my faith in graphic novel film adaptations and i was kinda looking forward to this.

damian lewis of band of brothers fame would have been excellent as rhorshach (that's is probably spelt wrong)

It looks like Zack Snyder is going to direct Watchmen now. He's the guy who did the (pretty good) remake of Dawn Of The Dead.
