I recently* participated in a music trade thing where a load of people got together and names were redistributed at random and everyone had to make a compilation tape for the person they "got".

Everyone got a comp and everyone made one, easy.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to do a Thumped one using CDRs. I'm sure Pete could organise it easily using the computers that do this site.

Who's in?

* ages and ages ago

i'll do it, record myself naked and screaming at night up in the hills, knowing someone will have to listen to it.

I'm up for this, sounds like a fine idea!

it'll have to be an old fashioned C90 though from me

which menas some lucky punter will be getting an extra 18mins (that they wouldn't get on a poxy CD-R) of Mike Oldfield, Dire Straits, Chicago, Genisis and ELO.

lucky lucky punter

oh and you have to design a cover
no poxy hand writen scrawling track listing...
unless thats your design.

We could have a secret internet enclave where everyone uploads an MP3 or summat.
I'm bound to be too lazy for the tape thingum.
Plus, I hate everything.
