Just got wind of this happening this weekend. Only found out about Unit 44 recently enough. It's some old barbershop that's been turned into an artspace.
May appeal to a few heads here. All events are free, I believe....
Great to have something like this space in the city. Good on 'em.

Kirkos 10th Anniversary Festival at Unit 44
Kirkos is holding a tenth anniversary celebration in Unit 44, July 28th - 31st.Running July 28th through 31st, it will be an off-beat, musically adventurous way to spend the bank holiday weekend.
Kirkos is holding a tenth anniversary celebration in Unit 44, July 28th - 31st.
Running July 28th through 31st, it will be an off-beat, musically adventurous way to spend the bank holiday weekend. Everything is free (though booking is recommended) and centres on the informal venue Unit 44 on Prussia Street, between Stoneybatter and Cabra.Events include:
- an installation performance marking the recent launch of Susan Geaney’s release Tape Melt
- the first Dublin screening of Eimear Walshe’s Land Cruiser
- Dublin’s first, and possibly last, “Fluxus Open Mic” (all welcome to participate, if you dare)
- a trip to nearby Phoenix Park for outdoor performances of music by Robert Coleman and Karen Power
- and three concerts performed by Kirkos. These concerts include performances of newly commissioned work from some of Kirkos' dearest collaborators: Robbie Blake, Éna Brennan and Jonathan Nangle.
