this was great fun to watch!

Q: How wet can you get through a rain-jacket, a chord jacket, and a t-shirt

A: Surprisingly bleedin' wet!!!!!!

My rain jacket was actually fine on the inside, just my phone was in one of the pockets and the pockets aren't too good for sealing so a bit of water got in. The inside of the coat would have been proper dry if I hadn't taken it off to play matches and then put it back on over my totally saturated shirt afterwards! I was considering just saying "fuck it" and taking my shirt off at one point, for a bit of a laugh like!
Did anyone else get sore nipples from shirt chest emblems getting heavy with rain and continuously rubbing against them?

Hey all, we're (Sporting Hangover that is) just back from a reception in Áras an Uachtarán getting the freedom of Dublin after our win! Was a good day though, even if I did have to wring a litre of water out of my jersey after every game...

Some great teams/games (the Argies in the semi in particular!) and all for charity, good times...

That was a good game alright. We nearly made up for being complete losers otherwise, but ye had some nifty players.

I heard that our infighting and foul language was noted. I take some pride in that.
