Right, having just watched Slade in Flame and being COMPLETELY blown away by it,I've decided to listen to the entire catalog of this seemingly astonishing band.I've been meaning to check them out properly ever since I discovered that "Mama we're all crazy now" was No.1 when I was born.I have never knowingly listened to a Slade lp before(my Sis was a big fan and played them a lot but I was in short trousers so that don't count).
Anyway, their lps are available on blogs http://2man-music-lover.blogspot.com/2009/01/slade-discography-in-vbr-v0.html so I'm gonna start at the start, and come good shit or worse I'm gonna listen to them all, although I may skip any tracks that are just too woeful(if they exist, and I suspect they do).
So,who's prepared to take the SLADE DISCOGRAPHY CHALLENGE with me?
I'd say it might get a bit hairy in the 80's but I'm game..
Come on...I need at least one other person to join me on this odd-essy .
It'll be great.
And whoever writes the best post Sladewise in mad crazy proto txt speak spelling will get mad rep all over the shop....
