The Great Thumped Brain Drain (1 Viewer)

It's a pity, I far prefer forums to social networking sites.
I just don't find the goings on on Facebook entertaining at all, whereas LOLs galore were had in the halcyon days of messageboards.

Me too

Ive realized my 'friends' are all boring bastards (present company excluded of course)

It's the posts from strangers and weirdos that make these things interesting

I'm inclined to agree with yis here.Facebook is'nt that much crack.I dont think I've ever actually lol'd on it tbh.

Its cool for sharing youtubes with people you know.thats about it.The novelty is defo wearing off.

Edit..its also a good place to moan when Thumped is acting up..

ya me 2o, after gorging at the sloven troph of cybrian lakshmi, and wounding around the graveyard. my jackdaw is a ironing board.

It's easier to avoid people here. That's all I really care about.

I had to set up a new acc and they still find me :(

Different buzz, innit? Facebook's perfect for vaguely keeping up with people you used to know without having to talk to them (provided they post status updates now and again), this is better for real conversations

Not that I've had many of those lately, pressures of work etc etc

the internet is fucking awesome.

Thumped doesnt send messages to everyone when you dont want it to.
Vallyballing bastards.

i disagree.

facebook is for reality-anchored inane nothings.
thumped is for quasi-anonymous slightly related strings of inane nothings.

and no-one would post anything so racist and sexist on facebook as they do on thumped, in case their mum or boss or grand-niece read it.

well i'm blaming

- people getting laid off
- people still working but no time to be internetting
- facebook
- twitter

The key point being that none - NONE - of it is my fault.
