Not long back, big stupid head on me.

The Pistols were great fun. Loads of beer, a bit of an old jump around, catchy tunes - basically, they did exactly what it says on the tin. Great stuff.

The crowd and response seemed pretty good from where I was standing, but I was right up at the front centre, so it's hard to tell.
I was having a look at the E.P. forum a few minutes ago, and the general feeling from others is that they were'nt good.
There were loads of people trying to be 'punk' by throwing cans and beer up at the stage. Some fool throw a glass up and just missed Rotten.They stopped playing and rightly treatened to walk off unless people copped themselves on.
Apart for that bit of shennagins, I thought they were great, but you're probably asking the wrong person to give an un-bias account, as I love the Pistols.

In summary...
Yeap they're past it, and they've sold out and all that other crusty shite that you can say about them, and it was the wrong crowd/venue, etc., but I had good fun, and can only imagine what they were like back in their heyday.

And yeap, they did a fine version of Bodies.|..|

Underworld were insanely mentally good. Walked off after seeing about a minute of the sex pistols. place was really crowded, way too many people, wrong venue etc, just wasn't doing anything for me..|..|

Underworld were excellent!! Close second to MBV for best of the weekend I think

i thought the sex pistols were really good, but was back about halfway down the field, so couldn't see all the projectiles being thrown up on stage. why they don't have big screens at the sides of the main stage is anyone's guess, tis really hard to see anything as a result of this. e.p. = hard work this year!!
