Any easy ways to get Skype on an iPhone without jailbreaking it?

yeah theres a bunch of apps in the app store that let you use VOIP.

i know FRING defo does. i think nimbuzz does as well.
do a google search for the most reliable one.

Does Fring need you to have your pc on at the same time though?

I did a bit of reading on the Skype forum & there was a lot of people whinging about the fact that Skype don't have their own App.

I'm checking this out for someone else so there's only so hard I'm going to Google.

Checked out some video reviews on youtube for Fring.
One said the phone needed to be jailbroken, another said it was shit.

The more I look, the worse it all gets!

I guess they could, I was just wondering if any of the iPhone users here were using Skype successfully before I e-mailed Stephen Fry.

Fring or Nimbuzz. Neither require the pc to be on.

Nimbuzz has better sound quaility overall especially if you use skypeout but Fring seems to have more options.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what they meant when they said Fring was "P.C. dependent".

From what I understand now, you can only add/remove contacts on the P.C.
Similar to an iPod, really.
