Why does thumped.com not work but gorillasmotasscarenow.com does work? Am I in trouble in work now?

Thumped.com just didn’t load. Sometimes it would time out, sometimes it couldn’t connect to the server. Gorillas......com worked fine. It just happened that day, Thursday 9th. It’s been grand since.

well it only happens every 4 or 5 pages and a few refreshes get it back. why would you/thumped blacklist my ip?

that could be it alright. although that was the firewall on the server, not vbulletin

Was it because you were searching/trying to access a thread from something from a few days ago?

I got the same message, so I reset my "Show threads from" option at the bottom of the page and that solved it

it's the firewall on the server - if it gets too many concurrent HTTP requests from a single IP it starts rejecting in case it's a DOS attack.
