stranger things have happened, but i can't see how it'd work.

I don't think it'd make sense for writing posts. By the time you go back online, what you have written may be irrelevant/said already.

But for reading posts it might be useful. Connect, download all unread posts and go offline. Also it would not be as complex to implement as it would require no syncing of the server database.

But, of course, this is for vBulletin to decide.....

i have a suggestion too. when your looking at a thread and someone posts a new post could we have it add itself automatically to the end of the page like on the secret vai thing? except instead of appearing at the top it'd appear at the bottom where it would be if you refreshed the page and maybe new page numbers could appear too if they were required? that'd be cool.
