Jesus Metal Gear Online is the slowest, most unresponsive online shooter I have EVER played.

Oh yeah it's meant to be like that. Some MGS nuts will love hiding in boxes and all that crap, it does nothing for me though. The graphics are pretty average too.

I'll give it a few more goes over the weekend, but if ever the word 'meh' suited a game, this is it.

I grew to hate mgs2 more and more as I played it through to its confusing conclusion and skipped on the last one, but I'll give this one a shot. Edge seemed to like it.

I never finshed MGS2. I was getting really bored with it, then I managed to scrath the disk. I never bothered to replace it. I loved MGS though.

I'll be getting it for free, so I'll give it a go!

I'm just reading the monster MGS4 thread on Eurogamer. It got an 8 and people are upset. Lame.

As long as you realise GRiD is a full on arcade racer, you should like it. It's even more arcadey than PGR. The online is a bit of a disaster though, full of people ramming each other off the roads. And if I complain about shit like that it must be pretty bad.

I try not to read the comments on EG reviews, it kinda makes me despair for humanity.

I'd much rather widespread scoreless reviews at this stage. It'd rule out the bribery, review embargos and discussions like that eurogamer one. This review score business is getting out of hand.

All the early reviews for gta and mgs were nothing but very complimentary.

Some of the perfect gta scores were dodge. EG gave it a 10 yet they criticise mgs for not bringing much new and mark it down because of that. Also why didn't they mention how bad the graphics, combat and missions in gta4 could be at times.

Anyone seen any good PS3 bundles recently? Best I've seen is 419 in Gamespot, comes with one used game. Can you even buy the console by itself?
