Yeah I was pressing right on the d pad, but the PS3 isn't clever enough to make the paired headset your default audio input device, you have to go into settings and set it yourself. Should be fine now, all I have to worry about is the PSN network crapping out on me.

Thats shit. You know you have to hit right on the d-pad to talk though right? This in game xmb is really needed.

I get video thumbnails but the videos themselves are stored on the HD. Dunno if that makes a difference.

Do you get a HDMI cable with it as standard now?
Is that Playstation Home thingy up and running?
Can you play Blu-Ray DVDs right from the get go?

don't think you get an HDMI cable (pretty sure i got one with my US PS3 though. may be wrong.). you can get them cheap enough online - try 7dayshop.com

Home isn't out yet. Bluray works out of the box.

Well I definetly only got a composite, as the first night I had the PS3 it was pretty much useless due to the terrible display.

Lefty/1000smurfs - Some EG folk are talking about private UT3 games tonight if you're interested. Reckon I might give that a bash instead of xbox gayness tonight.
