what's the story with accom at primavera, is it camping or is it near enough to barca that one can travel to and form the city each day? or is it a chalet type system like at atp?

You sort out your own accom, but there are loads of apartments but close to the venue or in the city that are not far away...everything is within public transport distance anyway

Amazing fest, went the last 2 years. Only good times...

sorry - other heads always did the booking for me!! I'll check about - there are loads of sites with places on them. Also, a lot of people on thumped went last year, so they could maybe say as well.

our place was a bit dear last year and then we couldnt get any fuckin sleep cos of the noisy spaniard outside , there was a festival on. but we were 2 minutes from the beack. Id stay somewhere else this year though for a change of scenery. somewhere not too noisy.

We stayed in the Gracia area last time - wonderful place, wanna stay there again. The apartment was a 7th floor one with a terrace and a view to Sagrada Familia and the sea - there were three of us and it was about the same price as a hostel would've been but much nicer.

That said, we're definitely not welcome to that flat this year

Here there ara the first confirmations for the Estrella Damm Primavera Sound stage curated by ATP. Legendary post rockers Slint wil perform the album Spiderland. Besides them we found artists like Vini Reilly's band The Durutti Column, american emo rock group Built To Spill, Modest Mouse showcasing his new album (with ex Smiths Johnny Marr, who is now a member of them), australian outfit Dirty Three and Low. The hard side of rock will be represented by Isis and Pelican, and the experimental side have artists as Brightblack Morning Light and Grizzly Bear. Also Sub Pop's Band Of Horses, Death Vessel and Oakley Hall are confirmed to play this year's festival, that will take place from May 31st to June 2nd."
