Grichka Bogdanoff died in hospital in Paris, aged 72, his agent confirmed on Tuesday, while twin brother Igor is being treated for the virus at the same hospital, according to reports.

Other twin Igor Bogdanoff is now also dead with COVID.

I didn't know Novak but I should have...
A pro from 1956-72 he spent much of his career as a team mate of Jacques Anquetil (w/ St.Raphael/Ford/Bic)
Shay Elliot was another team mate. Novak rode 20 grand tours and won a Tour and Vuelta stage himself.

Anatole Novak (born 1937-02-12 in La Mure, passed away 2022-01-04) was a former professional road racing cyclist from France, active between 1956 and 1972. His best results are winning GC Paris - Luxembourg and winning a stage in Tour de France.
