Sadly Wim Jansen was another victim of dementia. what a life in football he had:
Wim was part of the generation that put Dutch football on the map. Among many other things, Jansen won the European Cup w/ Feyenoord against Celtic in Milan in 1970, played in two World Cup Finals and even ended his playing career winning a title at Ajax of places.
Feyenoord were in dire straits at the start of the 1990's but with Wim as general manager they became Champs in 1993.
He later signed Henrik Larsson for 650,000 and stopped Rangers doing 10 in a row in 1998.
