This lines up with the upgrade of facilities in Intel's leixlip operation that started in 2021.

Are there sources for this?
from the article:

"In Comtrade’s categorisation, the bulk of the trade is covered by the 8542 category which applies to “electronic integrated circuits and microassemblies”.
Anecdotal evidence suggests this – in the main – relates to chip manufacturer Intel in Leixlip importing inputs from its sister Intel plant in Kiryat Gat, Israel, which would not be affected by the Occupied Territories Bill provisions."

Thanks, I didn’t click into the article clearly!

i assume that's the plant my brother in law worked in many years ago - over 20 years ago anyway, was before i met my wife. IIRC they used to have to be 'vague' about paperwork to be able to employ palestinians.

Pep Guardiola (Man City football manager) mentions Gaza while accepting honourary doctorate in Manchester. This shouldn't be news but sadly few in English football have said anything.

Every few days this atrocity just bumps into my view and knocks the wind out of me again and again. Today, just seeing photos of children, crying and begging for food, makes me think of how frightened and alone they are and how powerless I feel to do anything about it. They’ve been robbed of everything, even their childhood has been stripped from them but the world turns its back and it’s business as usual.

This story had that impact on me the other day. The complete dehumanisation of Palestinians seems just embedded in the idf

Jesus fuck.
Just scrolled through a few European threads on Reddit and they are convinced we support hamas and that we hate the Jews coz we also hate the Brits

Full on braindeads.

nothing mentioning that Palestinians deserve a fucking home

there were protests by microsfot employees about MS providing infrastructure to the israeli military - but this morning an MS facility in israel got hit by an iranian missile.

fucking shitshow. i had actually missed the reason why palestine action are regarded as a terrorist organisation and this is the reason:
"Cooper, the home secretary, announced plans to ban Palestine Action late last month, days after activists from the group broke into RAF Brize Norton and defaced two military aircraft with spray paint."
