and is that Ivan Caffola lad on in the Dance tent related to the crowd that own the chippers all over Ireland?

Its important to know these things. The one off Baggot St (since closed down  ) is where Eamonn Dunphy used to go for his dinner every day.

nice one, will check him out, that lad kept me fed for a year when I lived on Baggot St. Never met Dunphy in there though..

i hope whoever goes to this has a total blast, but now that i see the line-up i'm glad i'm not going. best of luck to kerian and the boys though.

What time is the rave on in the car park?

I hear DJ Lacerated Scalp is playing a deep house/latvian deathjazz funkmetal mashup set this year.

Proper.

yeah i got a ticket just for Phoenix, pity theyre only on for 45minutes and at the exact same time as Eels who i'd really like to see.

death cab, animal collective, spinto band, gomez and the who/james brown will keep me occupied though.

aaaaaaaaaages ago, apparently they are a new band..

Yeah, jaysus sake - that has to be an error. If Phoenix look at the line up at all their souls will surely droop a little at the idea of being on the friggin new band stage only one slot about Lily "I wuz literally born last Tuesday innit" Allen.

Ah well, sure.

My personal highlight will be Sandi Thom.

Sandi Thom and Claire Sproule.

I am actually looking forward to Animal Collective, aint never seen them in de live.

How much were these tickets? Looking at the line up -- no one on it is worth dealing with craptastic crowds. As far as I can tell, the only place to ever be is the 'green room' stage. What the hell is with all these big multi-day concerts? Maybe I am just getting old but I just can't be bothered. I just wish one or two of those bands would do a few shows on the side.

It has nothing to do with being a 'hater' -- can you seriously tell me that spending two or three days with drunken idiots in the mud is worth it? Take away any singles people know from the radio and blindfold half the people there...I would put money on it that they could not tell most of those bands apart.
