This sounds nothing like their last two albums! This reminds me of the first time I listened to Achtung Baby. I didn't know what to make of it, because it was so ground breaking!

Not mad about it, but in fairness to U2 they always make the effort.

Did I ever tell you about the video treatment I submitted for U2's sometimes you can't make it on your own?

For the first half the song it's just a head and shoulders shot of Bono against a pure white backdrop, with the camera revolving around him as he sings the song.

Then after the guitar solo, at the emotional build up around 3.17 mins, the white curtain drops to reveal full on rock show, the rest of the band rocking out behind him and bono is sitting on the toilet in the middle of the stage of wembley arena with a capacity crowd in front of him. He remains sitting on the toilet till the end of the song.

I also suggested changing the title to "Sometimes you can't make it...on the bowl"
