Yiz can only get so far with donkeys like riise and arbeloa in the team. Man, those pair we shocking, mainly arbeloa.

Masch, Carra, played well. Gerrard drifted in and out, had to drop back to get on the ball a bit more. Pool need some more players in midfield who can pick a pass, take the pressure off Alonso, Stevie.

Chelsea did their stuff. Drogba did the business. Thought essien was immense, even from right back.

Chelsea deserved it, but if fortune and swung Pools way, if could have been different.

I thought Babel had a better shout for a peno. On first look Essian won the ball but when I saw it afterwards it looked like Babel got to it first. I hope we buy a quality left winger in the summer and push Babel up front next season.

Like I said that was my first impression but the replay shows Babel got to the ball first and Essien definitely got Babel. I'm just saying I've seen them given and it was more of a peno than the Hyypia one.

he had it, pushed it too far away and gave it to Ballack, then instead of standing off him and closing his options he just threw himself at the ball - and it was the ball he was going for - but he got Ballack instead. schoolboy error.

at the same time, he's got a pretty decent attitude towards other players - if he fouls them he's over checking that they're ok. man knows he's a tank. he could run right through you. which makes it all the more annoying when he does make a meal of it.

the first half drogba had last night was unbelievable. socked it to benitez unfortunately but as soon as chelsea were under pressure in the second half he started appealing for a lot more frees and general whinging as we have seen many times before.

riise has to go this summer. compared to someone live evra he is complete shite.think newcastle want him. take him. could have thrown himself in front of that first drogba goal a little bit earlier. and pretty much stopped running for the third trying to call offside.someone said it earlier and its probably true, aurelio's injury is what swung it chelseas way over two games.
