Steve Fanagan is an excellent and affordable mastering engineer and a really nice guy as well.

Why just Dublin?
You can ftp your stuff over to top class mastering guys in the states - the weak dollar means they're no more expensive than guys over this side of the pond.

Golden are dudes! Spook album is being done. The have a rate of $660 for an album, are very quick and they are happy to tweak until you are happy with the finished result.

it's not for mastering something and i suppose it doesn't have to be dublin either
i'm currently doing a study into the loudness wars and will be needing to interview some mastering engineers
i'll be doing some interviews over this way too

It's actually 600 an album for WAV.
But yeah I was really happy with the job he did on the Hooray For Humans album.

It's hilarious looking at all the little discs he has stuck up all over his walls... Ronan Keating, Westlife etc...
