Longitude 2014 announcement! | Longitude Festival 2013

So basically a bunch of hype bands and what appear to be shit DJs then.
It looks like they're gearing this festival towards actual young people and not aging hipsters like last year. After seeing this line up I'm glad I can't afford a babysitter for that weekend

I'd love to see Bonobo if it's a full band show. And if, say, Goat ended up on the bill for the same day, I'd be tempted. Maybe I'll be rich by then.

Marley Park is such a monstrous pain in the hole to get to/away from :(
I went to it to see Kraftwerk last year and it was grand. (best gig of the year actually)
Got the Luas up to Dundrum, half hour walk up from there on a lovely sunny evening.
Getting back was grand too. I left the gig, and there was a full-up Dublin bus just leaving the bus stop outside. I waited for the next one which came along 5 minutes later, and got on that alright. It was full though, of course, bit of banter though.

some more acts added tonight.
Bombay Bicycle club, First Aid Kit OFFICIAL, Icona Pop, George Ezra and Koreless.
It is still very weak compared to last year and considering that slowdive, Agnes Obel, Goat and a lot of others are playing the sister event in England

I am have some friends who like Bombay Bicycle Club. I've always assumed I would dislike them so have never given them a chance. Anyone here a fan?

I saw them once and thought they were dire.
