Letter to Emily (1 Viewer)

I thought she might be encouraging people to interfere with themselves.

A tenner says Emily is made up.

Looks as if she might exist or at least someones gone to the trouble of building up an identity for her.

mostly different formats. Like there'd be a reissue with a bonus track or bonus DVD so I'd have to go buy it. In some cases I just ordered the CD having completely forgotten that I'd already ordered it. I'm a bit dim like that. I also have 2 copies of the God Help the Girl CD.

In about half the cases above one copy is CD and one copy is vinyl

Technology is killing the music industry as we've known it. It won't provide a decent income for musicians and it may lead to a severe drop in quality music.
The internet, music producing software and Mp3s makes publishing music very, very easy. It's also easy to endlessly copy music.
I could see music being a bit like steam trains - but on a bigger scale. It'll be a hobby - musicians make make a living out of it. But it'll be paid for by people who are enthusiastic about it.
The charts and all that will just be bleeps, tits and squealing. Teenagers will listen to any old shit.

Definitely have three Unforgettable Fires as well.

LP, MFSL CD and Super Deluxe edition.

I have it three times too actually. One on vinyl and twice on tape. One of the tapes is on the CBS label, the other Island. The CBS one is the first album I ever owned, back in 1984 (got it for xmas). Often wondered if it'd be worth money. My copy of October on vinyl is also on the CBS label. I would imagine they'd be quite rare these days.

The CBS pressings are definitely scarce. 'Cos it was Island worldwide?
