www.cbs.nu can be really good for Italo. My favourite track frm the era is Take A Chance by Mr Flagio. I also love Spacer Woman by Charlie, Robotic is Systematic by 'Lectric Workers Droid by Mito and Problems D'Amour by Alexander Robotnick. Lots of good, fun music but some dodgy stuff too.

I wouldn't consider Menergy Italo disco to be honest. More Hi-NRG. Still, absolutely fantastic album and far superior to most Italo I've heard.

Here's an Italo mix from the Mid 80s by Steve Silk Hurley. Interesting to note the influence Italo had on the early Chicago sound.

Take A Chance is probably the best italo track ever, played it on Friday in the Button Factory, just found out its a loose cover of Take A Chance by Material, should have known that!

out of the more contemporary stuff i do still really like
sally shapiros album and alot of skatebards stuff too

The first track on it is brilliant..he mixes up the name of

Just got this new Italo compilation...it concentrates on the lighter dancier side of the genre, also on general awesomeness. A couple of tracks feature Claudio Simonetti, better known as the guy from Goblin, who obviously decided making disco music was a lot more fun than horror soundtracks...
