Irish hc/punk bands are different? (1 Viewer)

The real reason why Irish punk and hardcore bands sound different to other bands around the world is because Irish people are too stupid to do it right.

"Anyone go the Dublin gig. There was a great doom metal band called Danamhisimus (that's a pronunciation not a spelling; I was pissed and had to ask the drummer) who I couldn't rave enough about if I were to start raving about them.

Does anyone know anything about them? Proper spelling? Website etc?"

"theres a savage ep, one 30 minute song they have out aswell"

"Yeah, that must be them. Thanks for the info. That one 30 minute long song is probably the one they played that night. Absolutely brilliant. Oh, and a chick guitarist in tight pants who played with her back to me the whole night! Don't know why I feel the need to mention that, but I do."

...ah well...at least we'll always have Cork.
