Ahh for fuck sake
Gutted!
Pitch perfect - did everything right - the paramount mountain at the start - the plane flying along superimposed on the map - Karen Allen - funny fight scenes with minimum CG
it could have been great
but aliens? fucking aliens - what the fuck! it's indy - it has to be something Old Testament - not fucking the fucking cunting x-files

Not happy!!!

Pretty bollocks, but at least it wasn't as bad as any of the new Star Wars films.
I said on the way in "What's the bet they turn up the Ark of the Covenant in that big warehouse in the trailer at some point?" Good thing the bookies wouldn't give me odds on it. Spielberg and Lucas both deserve to die. I'm gonna write a film called "Indiana Jones and the New Crusade" and just have Indie finding Lucas and Spielberg and killing them both for crimes to cinema.
The reviews got it totally right, decent enough enjoyable film that is completely ruined by Spielberg's penchant for shmultz and the paranormal. Fuck him.
Best fight scene - definitely the greasers vs. the jocks

I thought this movie sucked.
Relied way too much on CGI and action set pieces.
Lacked the wit and humour of the first three.
Looked as if most of it was shot on a soundstage in front of a blue screen.
One of the things I loved most about the first three was the authentic locations. This just looked like any other summer blockbuster.
Fair play to Ford though. He was as spy as a seventeen year old.

off to watch this now

can't wait to come back on thumped to complain about it!
