I meant it in a stereotypical male perspective. I see very pretty girls on the arms of very average/below average looking men. It's rare to see the reverse.

Very good looking men often have a very inflated sense of self, that's not always a particularly attractive trait. I think sometimes, no matter how hot a woman is there might be a bit of a self esteem issue there, so they're happier to settle with someone who may not be as hot as them.

That or these average looking blokes aren't very average in the trouser snake department.
