wasn't zombie holocaust tagged as being a real snuff movie when it came out on video too?

Didn't they kill of few animals when they were making it? If memory serves it was a turtle and a rabbit but I could be confusing it with some other Zombie holocaust flick.

I don't Zombie Holocaust had animal deads in it - i could be wrong as it's ages since I saw it.

zombie holocaust had a sacrifice scene that was supposed to look pretty real
..maybe in it's day, on a tenth generation video
or maybe it was pretty real to people who hadn't even seen it but read about it in the tabloids

downloaded the first august undergroun film the other week. it's pretty grusome!!! some of the effects are great, especially considering the buget. must have been a pretty intense film to make. it's what hostel wanted to be in theory but roth is far too shit a director to make anything even remotely engaging.

got another film called Slaughtered Vomit Dolls too. ehhhh dunno quite what to say about it really. imagine a cross between a gore movie and a vomit porno. girls strip, vomit all over the place (for real!) then get hacked up. looks pretty real, especially a particular eye gouging scene, but it aint. obviously.
