Last House on Dead end st.
Tesis
The Brave
Mu zan e
Evil Death's Trap
Video Drome
Snuff-Movie (the Bernard Rose film)
Emanuelle in America
Man bites Dog
August Underground
August Underground's Mordum
Flower of Flesh and Blood
The Last Horror Movie
Snuff (prolly the most famous)

I have all of these on dvd.

I went through a huge phase of buying obscure movies based on their reputation. Most of them are complete gash that are gathering dust in my room. I spent a hell of a lot of money on them (most of them i had to order from US)

I do like Man Bites Dog, Tesis and especially Videodrome... But obviously they've a lot more merit than all the other ones...

The August Underground movies are pretty intense.

The worst was a movie called "scrapbook" which is pretty much just 90 minutes of a guy raping and beating a girl. It's complete arse.

Also the "All Night Long" trilogy, which unfortunately is in no way affiliated with Lionel Richie.

Murder Set Pieces is another one, made by the guy who did "Nutbag", which was complete tripe as well. MSP is passable i guess, good enough effects and all that, but still pretty boring really..

I really have way too many of these dvds though.

I kinda liked 'Scrap book' (if liked is the right word) - I've seen another few of Stanze's films too - 'I spit on your corpse, I piss on your grave' was ok too but kinda amateurish too. Maybe I just have a thing of Emily Haack.

I must be on the only person who like MST. Jesus, I must have shite taste in films. I do think the director is a tosser though...one thing though, who the hell let their kid appear in that movie .

I saw the first 'All Night Long..' - wasn't impressed with it , so didn't bother with the sequals.

I wonder what the customs would of thought if they opened the packages with 'Tumbling doll of flesh' or Mordum :)

Yeah, I have Ice Behind The Sun, it's alright. I dont know what to make of Stanze really, he seems enthusiastic but in fairness comes across like a bit of a weirdo from what I can tell (besides the films he makes of course).

I only watched Scrapbook once but I really wasn't into it - maybe I should watch it again. I do remember it having a very grimey feel to it which was a plus, but in the end I think I was just bored. The acting is particularly bad. It's one of those films where if it was well made, it would have been shocking, but it's weaker points remove any tension or intensity.

You know the guy who wrote and starred in Scrapbook (Tommy Diondo) died before the film was finished? I cant remember how he died though.

On IMDB the plot keywords for Scrapbook are "Dyke / Bed / Ape Woman / Female Nudity / Gay"... wtf??

Anyways... MSP is good for what it is - unusually high production values for a movie of it's kind... Nick Palumbo is a cock of the highest order though. And the scenes with the kid are really a bit much.

If you thought All Night Long 1 was bad, you should see part 3... Christ.

did you get all night long of the visual pain guy??

i'd say that dude is fucked now

nah i actually got it from amazon, weirdly enough.
what's the story with visualpain anyway? last i heard he was shut down. i can never go on the site cos i'm always in work - might not be a good site to be looking at here

last i was on the site a couple of years back he had just added animal farm and loads of german shit porn
so i never went back

deffo not a good site to check out in work!
it's gone now though

yeah, when i went on he'd gotten rid of anything interesting (he had some deadly straight up horror that wasn't released over here, shit like From Beyond and whatnot) and replaced it with a load of animal porn/japanese schoolgirl rape porn/vegetable rape porn

Christ, looking at the IMDB forums for Scrapbook. Lot of freaks on this.
