is PHP and mysql pimped up on it? like is the unix bits more documented than before? I still havent got my copy yet

I've had to go to the config file on our bsd server, check out the php and mysql config and activate the same things on the osx server just to get php and mysql running

Got my new ibook a week ago with Panther pre installed.

Lots of brushed metal in the interface but otherwise seems very nice.

Bit of a unix head myself and it seems pretty good. Man or info pages for pretty much anything I've looked for so far. Came with vim installed and php. (although had to uncomment a few directives in the httpd.conf to get it to work with apache). There is a mysql user there by default and the default php is built with mysql, so it probably is there, but i can't stand mysql personally so I just stuck fink on and got a few bits and pieces so i could build a fresh postgres from source. Gcc 3.3 etc. seems well set up.

Overall I'm well happy with it.

ps. she's called lola ;)
