Is there a kind of courtyard in that bit? at the front of a town hall? IIRC I think there is building with a box o' rockets in the center somewhere. After 3 rockets IN THE FACE, he should come down easy with a bit of machinegun fire no?

Thats the one, 1000smurfs. I hit him with 3 rockets (not in the face, back of the head maybe) and he wouldn't go down. I then put every bullet I had into him and nothing! He laughed at me. I will check for that box of rockets. The revolution thanks you!

He sure is. What I hadn't spotted was this little underground bunker thingy that had a cache of rockets in it.

Now, I am in this weird factory thingy. I have had all my weapons taken off me (except the Gravity Gun which has had a most-pleasing upgrade allowing me to fling people around). I am in this long corridor with a strider at the end of it. I can pick up these big metal cover thingys but he keeps shooting them and I drop them.

It's a great game.

Roll on tomorrow. XBox 360!!!

Well, I got the Xbox 360 and the patches that allow you to play your old xbox games. I loaded up Half Life 2 to finish the game (I was on the last chapter) and then realised there was no way to take my saved game info from the xbox to the 360. I would have to start again.

The language I used at this point shocked even me.
