Modest Mouse - New York 2003. Hermie was stayin with me for a few nights and going to see the gig. looking back now, i should have paid more attention to his gig attending antics.

I hated Modest Mouse for years, until I heard them. Now I can tolerate them.

The name just put me off them...it's up there with Ham Sandwich.

I was at loads of these gigs that people regret missing. Youse didn't miss much though. Most of them were shit. Even Metallica in the Top Hat.

Replacements in 1989(Dublin)
The Make Up (Dublin)
Steve Reich marathon (Dublin)
Dogbowl (London)...he played 7 days in a row.was in Sunderland boozing with F Stubbs

Agreed, even the festival part.

Recent gigs I regret not going to

Phoenix in Spirit.

I sorta just ended up in that tent great guitar solos if I remeber correctly, same thing happened with Buck65 that day. His albums are deadly but.

I have never, repeat never
I mean neeeeeeeever seen Sonic Youth.

Every single time they have ever played in this country, something has happened causing me to be unable to go... This has been happening for fuckin years now!

This year they are playing The Electric Picnic... Deadly...

But guess what? I'll be in fuckin London seeing bleedin Prince...
