I heard the north east of america is fucked alright.

Theres a lot of collective pants-jizzing going on by the weather nerds about whats coming here. It looks like it could be a long enough cold spell. Everyone is highly likely to see snow on wednesday afternoon/evening. It'll be cold enough for accumulations so it'll all depend on how much falls as to how disruptive its going to be. And the western half of the country to be hit the worst (weather system is coming from the north west).

It's good laugh with kids and stuff, but it really fucks me up for travelling. Also snow = cold = fucks up my upc broadband.

My mate is essential personnel in Harvard. just got told that he can't go home til Wednesday. There's a hotel room across the street for when he's not working.
He's union though, so he'll get paid for every hour, even sleeping.

He's not. But he works with a lot of those guys.

Harvard do a lot of experiments there. Like there's rooms of monkeys with tuberculosis and all that gear.
So he's responsible for making sure all the systems are kept within a range, even while the boffins aren't there.

If they read " isolated snow in parts on the North West...sporadic light snowfall in parts of the midlands" I would call them "spot on". Instead we are getting yellow snow(chortle) warnings with the implication it will be nationwide
