Saipan, a new film about the events leading up to Ireland’s incendiary 2002 World Cup campaign, will go into production this summer. BAFTA nominated Cork native Éanna Hardwicke (Lakelands, The Sixth Commandment) will play Ireland football captain Roy Keane, with two-time Oscar nominee Steve Coogan (Philomena, The Reckoning) cast as the Ireland manager Mick McCarthy.

Ah you're probably better off.

Wait until they make film about Thierry Henry's handball. Richard Dunne by Jason Statham.

Actually I think this could be an interesting movie. Keane and McCarthy are both well known strong characters in real life.

apparently the lad who played the young cocky iceman style character in top gun: maverick, has confirmed he's been picked as the lead role in edgar wright's remake of 'the running man'. will be interesting to see if they swing back closer to the source material than the arnie movie.
