oh, the Phosphorescent album too. That was great. And they were deadly in those National support slots. I was at 2 of those gigs and both nights they were better than the National

humm, here is my year:



I had a quick look at the play count on my ipod and, based on that, the best album released this year was this fella

not sure if I agree with myself although I certainly couldn't fault it. I think The Dreamer was probably the best song released this year but that was on the EP.

But not the 1 disc version which leaves out half of the best songs.

Also the Marina and the Diamonds album, although it seems so long ago....
