I also left during Chilli Peppers gig because they were terrible. I only went because Rollins Band was opening. They were great. Stayed for a few songs of Chilli Peppers,who I wasn't a fan of and left.

Rollins had done a spoken word gig in the Bag got the day before I think. Went to that,it was great,although he told the story of how his friend Joe Cole was shot in front of him not long before. It was a teary one.
I think this was 92 or so.

Tool, January last year at Madison Square Garden. Went to see Elder supporting, gave Tool 2 songs and I've never been more appalled by how dreadful something can be.

GY!BE at the Ambassador. I was jet-lagged and wrecked and wasn’t feeling it at all, even bailed on my friend to go home and sleep. Turns out it might not have been just me, seeing how many of youse didn’t rate them either.

I’ve left a few other gigs before the end to catch my transport home but that doesn’t count.

Went to see KingsX at the point and left before AC/DC.

Got a free ticket to see Papa Roach at the Point Deeepot and left after they played The Hit.

Had to briefly leave Barnstormers while Neurosis were playing as the combination of the visuals they were projecting + the sound they were making was making me want to throw up. Probably nothing at all to do with the cider in Barnstormers....

I left a few early recently but not because the bands were terrible as such, more because I'm becoming an old man and sometimes I'd rather just be at home than out listening to mediocre music at high volume and getting to bed late etc.
Back when leaving early was serious I recall leaving Killing Joke (not so much because of the band as because I didn't like their aggressive middle aged fans or the button factory), Arial Pink (again, the button factory's fault), Joanna Newsom (because I only went to see Roy Harper supporting and I don't like her anyway).
I try to always turn up just in time to see the main act unless I'm certain the support act is worth seeing

Juana Molina in the sugar club one time. I didn't know her music but people told me she was good. Not for me.

The first ever Villagers gig, in whatever wigwam used to be called. Again, not for me.

I walked out of Springsteen at the RDS because (a) I had been up near the front but needed a piss and then couldn't get back (b) the crowd were annoying me and (c) Bruce was annoying me.
