Retro in George's Arcade have some lovely 1940s style dresses at the moment. They're really nice cut too - made for ladies with hips and arses, unlike a lot of the clothes in high street places.

A Wear? They've really stepped up their collections of late, with 40's-style dresses and the like. Plus great sizing and flattering on the hips, generally (haven't found their jeans very good - Penneys flared jeans are amazing though!)

That place is a rip off, seen a smock dress with an alice in wonderland illustration on it in there a while back 113 euro, friend of mine was looking on asos about two weeks later seen the dress, same make and everything on sale for less than 30 euro.

They do have nice stuff though, try it on in there and then buy it off the net.

You can buy most of it online - Vivien of Holloway, Stop Staring, Betty Page collection etc - so it's probably worth trying online before you buy.
