WHAT`S THE STORY?
ChoiceCuts bring you DIG at the POD – a weekly Friday night club bringing you the very best in hip-hop, funk, soul and reggae.
€10 admission allows you access to both the Pod and Lobby Bar. We’ve a massive heated smoking area, and the crowd are an eclectic mix of students, smokers and music-lovers!
WHAT`S THE LINE-UP?
• POD (DJ Tu-Ki and Mr. Moto spinning dancefloor-friendly soul, funk and disco)
4 times Irish DMC champ and ChoiceCuts favourite Tu-Ki returns to the POD. Tu-Ki`s MySpace site is currently flooded with viewers checking out his incredible scratch videos, including his Corona World Championship winning set.

Mr. Moto is a resident DJ from the highly respected Stylus crew. Dedicated to purveying quality underground music ranging from hip hop to soul, funk to house, Latin to disco, Stylues endeavor to create a community of like minded groovers who wish to stem the onslaught of low quality music, sound and service. They'll be dusting off their old 45's and maybe even sneaking in a few cheeky little re-edits. Expect a packed dancefloor!!

• LOBBY BAR (DJs Fonetik and Half Dutch dropping all the best in hiphop + soul)
In The Lobby Bar we have DJ Fonetik who has supported artists like Edan, Souls of Mischief, Giant Panda and Scratch Perverts. Switching it up from funk to hiphop to soul to reggae, Fonetik is a master of the quick mix so don't expect to hear more than 90 seconds on any track he mixes in! Fonetik brings with him an action-packed set of hip-hop slammers, as well as some unearthed funk gems, for a taste of what to expect check our the following mix that Fonetik put together especially for Choice Cuts:

A newcomer to Dig is DJ Halfdutch, a female DJ who has impressed at her monthly reidency at the Kettle student nights. Well known for her regular radio show on Raidio Na Life 106.4FM on Saturday nights, halfDutch likes to really mix it up so expect a mixed bag of music - Luke Vibert, Talking Heads, Kraftwerk, Dj Krush and Bugge Wesseltoft - the list and the mix of genres goes on!
