Dazd is more of a strange beast. more of a psych black metal doom/crust band then straight up crust/dbeat. interesting stuff.

DISCHARGE - HEAR NOTHING SEE NOTHING SAY NOTHING LP (Gatefold)
HC1243.jpg

Considered by many to be one of the best, if not THE BEST hardcore record of the 1980s. This record caught Discharge at the peak of their powers, combining the anger, intensity and power of their early material with a high caliber of production and musicianship. Pure anger and power, shocking and provocative graphics (before these were passe on punk record covers) combined with rampaging riffs and coarse vocals. Faithfully reproduced as a gatefold LP.
Price €10

DISCHARGE - WHYHC1244 LP
HC_1244.jpg

An unrelenting blast of raw punk anger. This genre defining record turned up the intensity of hardcore punk several notches. A searing protest against the insanity of war and madness of politicians set to the most powerful and bombastic hardcore assault laid down to that date.
Price € 8

CRUCIFIX - DEHUMANIZATION LP
HC3006.jpg

Finally back in print, one of the top ten US hardcore records of the 80's. Crucifix perfectly mix the early 80's hardcore sound with the drive and intensity of UK anarcho bands like Discharge and Varukers. On top of this they used the visual style of Crass or Discharge with the shocking images of war and man's inhumanity to man in a fold out poster sleeve. This was one of my favorite records as a teenager and it's still a total crusher by any measure today. The raw intensity of this record puts it up there with Discharge for sure. Hopefully Southern will be re issuing the rest of their back catalog too as titles like Antisect, Crass and Rudimentary Peni have been strangely out of print on vinyl for several years.
Price € 10

TEARGAS - WAY OF ALL FLESH LP
HC3095.jpg

Australian hardcore inspired by Japanese bands like Deathside, Nightmare and Judgement. Bombastic and powerful with crushing riffs, searing vocals, thunderous drums, pummeling bass and blazing guitar. This band sealed the deal at Chaos in Tejas and on their recent US tour.
Price € 9

KROMOSOM - 8 TRACKS 12"
HC1245.jpg

Rampaging hardcore noize from these Australian fanatics. This band takes the Disorder/Confuse style of hardcore and cranks up the distortion in the style made famous by bands like Gloom and Disclose. Has the same hard charging power and wall of raw noise of bands like D Clone, Perdition and Nerveskade but with a solid and powerful hardcore punk backbone that recalls the masters of Scandinavian hardcore from years past. Some bands attempting this style start to fall apart and just sound like a barrage of senseless noise. Kromosom holds it down with solid and punishing songs directing, yes, channeling the energy of the noise and distortion in crushing riffs instead of pure white noise.
(KROMOSOM is Cormys new Australian band)
Price € 9

THE AUTONOMADS - No Mans Land.LP
bollox24large.jpg

young 5 piece from Manchester /UK and their brand of Dub/Ska and snotty Anarcho Punk Sound, that would fit into a perfect row together with such acts like CITIZEN FISH, INNER TERRESTRIALS and USUAL SUSPECTS... etc.
But categories and comparsions aside, this Band stunned me totally with their fresh and amazingly well produced and well written musical output and their ideas and energy that overthrows every slight moment of stagnation... musically you get not too much and not too less of the Dubpunk elements compared with melodic saxophone hints here and there and a full throttle Punkrock doze spreading a very well thought and Eco-based political message.
(Great band if you like Inner Terrestrials)

BACCHUS – S/T – LP
download

(in coop. w/Contraszt! (Germany) – 520 copies – June 2011)
Housed in a gorgeously hefty production, the long-awaited debut LP from Ireland’s Bacchus is a tense and hulking assault of millenium-era crust. With Elements of From Ashes Rise and Kylesa forming a raging, spiralling monument of caustic desperation, this is never reductive. Refusing to take the easy option and revelling in a staunchy progressive approach to hardcore, this is like Neurosis raised on amphetamine and tempered with weed: excellent. Mastered by JJ Golden, amazing artwork by Glyn Scrawled...the LP comes on heavy 180g Vinyl in a thick cardboard cover and a download code.

Price: € 8

MOB 47 - 1984 EP (KARNVAPEN ATTACK)
HC7047.jpg

Mob 47 took the anger and intensity of early 80's Swedish hardcore and injected it with the speed and high energy of American Thrash. The result is some of the most powerful hardcore of the early 1980s. Recorded in 1984 these 8 tracks, one of which appeared on the PEACE comp, sent a shockwave through the world of hardcore. Powerful, fast and angry hardcore from some amped up young Swedes, This record has been highly influential in the world of hardcore from crust, to grind to thrash.

UK CRUST CORE WITH A METAL TOUCH , THIS EP RECORDED AT BRADFORD FEBRUARY 1999,Formed from the talents of Hellbastard and Energetic Krusher members, Hellkrusher released several albums in 1991 and 1993 and more recently; releasing splits with bands like DISCLOSE,

Plasmid EP 7"

80's UK Fast Raw hardcore punk, this is some very fast angry raw punk played with aggression that is carried through into the lyrics which are very strong political and personal dealing. Its got alot of artwork you would expect more from the peace punk scene but has just a bit of the raw edge which you find in the music. Think AntiSect, mixed with early Finnish 80's hardcore.
Price € 4

arctic-flowers-reveries-lp.jpg

One of the most well known of Portland's fertile post punk influenced scene, Arctic Flowers follows up their well received debut EP and split with Spectres. Their sound builds on the foundation of UK anarchopunk meeting their previous work with such bands as Signal Lost and The Observers. This 12" has 8 songs leaning more towards the hardcore end of the spectrum while throwing in the occasional Mob influenced bit of melodic punk.
