well,i guess hunting with guns is grand if your gonna actually use the animal once you have killed it,this business of chasing it about for hours then having dogs rip it to shreds is just evil though.

a good compromise would have been to keep stag hunting legal, but also to allow people who are against stag hunting to hunt the people who partake in stag hunting. I wouldn't mind bagging me the head of some blood-thirsty toff and putting it up over the mantlepiece.

a load of the farmers around the area the ward hunt use must be delighted - they weren't universally loved around there.

i suppose that they have NOTHING to do with the countryside alliance thats existed in the uk for 12 years.

It was formed on 10 July 1997 from three organisations: the British Field Sports Society, and two other organisations (the Countryside Business Group and the Countryside Movement) which were formed with help from the British Field Sports Society.

also they sell insurance policies to thier members.

i just thought it was a pretty sketchy ommission to not mention that although the only 'formed' in ireland on the weekend before that, they existed for years in the uk. that should have been in there.
