i started organising gigs 5 years ago, have done so on and off since then, and recently got back from a five week tour. i'm pretty well aware of what's involved in running a gig. i've done gigs in cork for hag before - he asked me to handle the zu one a couple of weeks ago, and i said no.

well that's interesting, i guess i would've thought someone with so much experience wouldn't be so presumptuous about hag not showing up for a another band's set, or at least wouldn't imply he didn't bother on a public forum. i dunno. i don't think anyone really wants to fight about it......i thought it was a cool gig and i liked the venue and i wish i'd tried a murphy's because someone told me they were lovely.

just because i have experience doing gigs, that doesn't mean i'm not a total cunt.

i'm sorry, i'm just not getting this, what is the issue with gear? you had your own drum kit and zu has no guitar amps. is this about lifting the bass amp on to the stage?

there's no mention of gear. maybe you forgot to send that one to me?

im sorry to post this here, but again, i just dont want people thinking im making stuff up.

this was a great gig. my remorse, it's a real pity you leaft after your set, zu were completely amazing. i didn't skip your gig on purpose and thanks for helping me out with the show. i'm not sure what else i need to say to settle this.
