My boss has just informed that I'm getting a company car! Any suggestions as to what I should get?

don't company cars count as benefit in kind these days so you're best off just getting the smallest most inexpensive one you can?

Well, there's a €20,000 cap on it. So I guess it'll be fairly nice.

I did suggest a yellow submarine, but I was informed that I live on the ground - which was a shock to the system, to say the least.

do you get insurance/petrol/tax paid for aswell out of that or do you have to pay for that yourself?

in the mean time,

look out for something like this

Don't know yet about those things. I presume they'll be paying for the insurance/petrol (or diesel!)/tax.

Looks like it will be a Volkswagen Passat. Might soup it up for the clientz.

you should definitely check out with your payroll staff how much you extra tax you will have to pay. it is a benefit in kind and you will be taxed accordingly so it may not be worth your while !bog

if you're souping it up there's nothing classier than a firebird on the bonnet
and an aquariam built into the back of the seat
