Really want to get one of these. Realistically, how easy would it be to assemble this given that I don't have much experience?

I have absolutely no experience either, but reading the website, casper says that he'l be making a powerpoint presentation yolk to go through the steps of constructing it. Which is handy. I think i'm kind of depending on that.

Also a girlfriend who was deadly at constructing circuits in school!

If you can solder in tight spaces you're probably grand. A decent soldering iron with a small pencil bit is the key imo. There's no offboard wiring which makes it a lot easier too.

Think they're sold out atm though.

i investigated CNC laser cutting shops for faceplates for the monome. there's a place in parkwest. and some others. have a look on gogolgel

Nice one dude!!! Sorry my head's fried after work. About how much would it cost to get a faceplate done? Would it be cheaper if we can give them the CAD measurements?

you'd need to give em a cad drawing deffo. there's a 10% rebate on orders for 5-9 units. that one above was 30 quid...

i ain't used these guys mind. they look good though.

if you try and run a audio in from a synth it won't work. you will need to put a cap between the synth out and the tremelo in. needs to be 0-5v.

i just remembered there's a CV section on my bass synth anyway. woo
