j'ever see a huge like never trimmed full face beard, but on a really elderly man? Like prolly 40+years of solid growth? Saw a fella like that on the bus, couldn't tell where his disturbingly profuse nostril hair ended and the moustache-tragedy began... hey! there's a band name...

HA- I'm the singer! Who's in? What's our "target demographic" and how can we "move units?" This band must have at least 11 members.|..|

Re: first the album cover, then the avatar, then the band...it all makes sense now...

i'll play tambourine.

In all fairness... at the end of the day... taking all things into account.... No Way, Referree is the place to be. This "music" board is full of pricks.

the new delgados one is overblown wankery with tunes
that re-issue of the subpop 200 comp is good and makes me feel 15 all over again
new RFTC is spot on for a RFTC lp

apart from that I have bought nothing else recently.
Been listening to American Water a lot recently after our Joo's conversation. Which reminds me, I'll drop them records round to you this weekend.

i haven't actually bought anything new lately, for some reason. hmmm.

i fear this means i'm starting to turn into my dad, who has a ginormous record collection, little of which dates from after 1980 or so. sure it all sounds the same now anyway, doesn't it?

I went trough the last 6 months with a "if it was recorded after 1976 its obvisouly shit" head on me.

All I could buy was 70's west coast pop.

I've recently admitted this problem to myself and now by borrowing modern day CD's from my generous, helpful friends I'm slowly rehabilitating myself.

its tough but,
one Steely Dan CD and I could slide down that slippery slope again

ms john soda - no p or d (morr)

flipping deadly this, joss has been on about it for ages. another notwist spinoff, a little to a lot like lali puna, but more fun, i think.
and the packaging is amazing. you get to make your own robots in the booklet 8)

m ward - end of amnesia (future farmer)

alt country stuff, with some amazing guitar playing, pal of giant sands etc.

listening all the time to sigur ros, tycho brahe, hot snakes, komeit, amalgamated sons of rest...
