Black Metal Recommendations (1 Viewer)

Is there such a thing as black metal with clean vocals, or no vocals? Quite like the energy of the music, but with most acts the vocals just make me laugh.

I think a clean vocal would get lost in the mix with most metal. The vocal is usually really low or really high pitch cause its the only space left sonically ??

Not in to metal too much but the Bathory album Hammerhearth is good. Yer mans dead now though.

Also Cradle of Filth were a direct rip off of Celtic Frost!

Somebody played me a song off Vanity Nemesis one time and it was to my ears v similar to COFS song with the bird with English accent reading poetry and guy doing screamey vocals - as i said I'm not in to metal to much but I was convinced.

Anyway either way lets just start slagging Cradle of Filth already!

Lets just leave Cradle of Filth out of the black metal recommendations thread.

And Hellfire by 1349.

pretty much straight up, balls to the wall black metal.

The new album has really thrown the cat amongst the pigeons, very atmospheric and not as harsh. It's gotten very bad reviews. It was produced by Tom G Warrior of Celtic Frost (them again.....)
